The visit was part of the "Help Is Here Express," which helps the poor and uninsured access programs that provide free prescription drugs. It focuses on those with chronic diseases who can't afford the medication they need.
Mathers said it's important for people to know how to access what they need, especially in hard economic times like these.
"People of course are being laid off, people maybe that couldn't afford insurance ever. There's just a whole lot of people that need a little help and that's what this program is for," Mathers said.
Mathers also took time to sign autographs and pose for pictures with fans at the Farmers Market in Clinton Square.
